About the Curator
Shannon Skye Robinson is a freelance designer, curator and illustrator currently studying for her Master's Degree in Curation at Norwich University of the Arts.

Shannon is a passionate creative with a goal to support people and the planet. With a strong focus on sustainability, ethics, and equal representation, Shannon creates designs that are available for and inclusive of all.

As this is a Virtual Exhibition, everything has been created by Shannon on her laptop. There has been no printed material, nothing has needed to be shipped, sent, posted etc. This is a fully sustainable exhibition combining artists from around the globe. According to Energy Live News, the increase of virtual exhibitions and events has seen a 99% decrease in emissions since previous years. Shannon hopes that this huge step in the right direction does not retreat after the Covid-19 pandemic. That this is a new era for the art, museum, and cultural sector, and that virtual events will be an extension of their practice, not merely an alternative.

The positive feedback this event has received is huge and it is greatly appreciated. Hopefully, this can inspire more creatives to take a more sustainable approach to their practice. The project has been extremely rewarding to work on.
