'This painting is derived from organic forms, beginning at the centre and blossoming towards the edge of the canvas. After making work during lockdown focusing on the restrictions and limitations of the pandemic, i decided to take a positive turn and reflect any negative feelings into a colourful explosion of light using colours to connect it back to nature. During lockdown, my escapes to the park helped my outlook on life in such a dark and unknown time. I wanted to share these feelings of hope and positivity through my paintings with the public.'
