'The piece consists of a simple yellow vessel called ‘HOPE’ in which sits a little figure with arms wide, ready to give/receive a big hug. Flying above the vessel is a bird of peace and there is a little figurehead in the form of a heart-mouthed fish, its mouth filled with tiny hearts. There is a heart-shaped dinghy attached to the back of the vessel.

All of my family lives abroad, and 1 in the UK a long way away so I miss especially hugs. I made the little bird when I still believed that the Covid-19 vaccines would reach everyone worldwide, without greed getting in the way. I, like so many other people, live in hope regarding many wrong things still happening worldwide, hoping for change'
