'I work for Suffolk Artlink running creative arts courses with adults with learning disabilities. I’m also an illustrator. When lockdown started we moved all our work online. In many ways it’s been a hard year, but the zoom sessions with students have been filled with creativity, art, dancing, music and making and we’ve tried to keep each other positive. When I painted this picture, I was inspired by people in Italy playing music from their windows and connecting with others. It made me think of how art was keeping us from feeling too alone, and sharing that art brought relief from the stress and worry. '
