'This zine was created in November 2020 at the start of the second national Covid-19 lockdown. It was made quickly and instinctively in my bedroom, after reading the work of Eve Sedgwick and Olivia Laing over the preceding months. It acted as a reminder to myself to prioritise activities that were nourishing and restorative, which I found I was losing sight of after many months in lockdown with a terrible news cycle. Zines allow for imperfection and do not require huge amounts of materials, so they're perfect for those with limited resources and skill. Zines may be small and humble but they encourage you to allocate time away from technology to reconnect with your creative instincts, without the pressure of function or scale. '
