About The Artwork

'In my “Lockdown" series of paintings, I use bright colours and compositional dynamic to reflect on this common social experience. This series was inspired by my life and feelings during quarantine, the focus on the apartment as a world in itself, with fear of small confined spaces and of isolation. The satirical elements are intended to make people think back on unusual behaviours prompted by these events: from toilet roll bulk buying to the newly developed relationships between family members and their pets.'
